This is one our oldest songs (was also part of a DEMO compilation from 2016 ) ,but now with a new production ,it captures our 'CARCASS' inspirations from the band's start .
Lyrics are based on true surgery events .

Below the sternum the incision
Cut through musculus rectus abdominis
Need two assistants for the retractor
Surgical technician for the set of instruments
Explorative born intervention
Split every single tissue to peritoneum
Careful cutting to the inside
The guts are sterile so work well
Extremely high infection risk
The search for the cause has to be fast
Every single minute with the open wound
Is another possibility to die

Abdominal section, surgery on a pure level
Anaesthesia will intubate, sedation through the whole time

And the search has just begun, to dig within viscera
As start the intestine, other organs at last
When the cause has been found cut it out if you can
If it's a fist-sized tumor, pack together let it in

Desinfect the guts with iodide, take it up with a surgical sponge
Count any used tool, close the tissues with staples and mesh

Intervention had success, patient has severe pain
The next days are a fight, a fight for life
Painful weeks have begun, every night is affliction
Another place to live, another place to die
